Today I am making a classic drink of Brazil, Brazilian Lemonade! It’s made with Lime instead of Lemons and has Sweetened Condensed Milk and mixed in a blender; Refreshing, frothy, and full of sweet Lime goodness! Everyone will love and enjoy this, crisp, refreshing and it will quench up your thirst! Perfect on a hot Summer day and great to serve at BBQ Cookouts and Pool Parties!
4 large limes, rinsed and cut in half (remove the white and green peels)
4 cups cold water
1 teaspoon pure lemon extract
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Ice, to taste
Lime slices, for garnish
In a blender, add in the lime wedges and water; set it to low pulse and blend for 10 seconds. In a bowl using mesh strainer, strain the water mixture to remove the access pulp then pour it back into the blender, then add lemon extract and sweetened condensed milk. Continue on a low pulse, blend until well incorporated (taste for more sweetness to your liking). Add in the ice to the blender and pulse again until well combined and frothy. Pour lemonade in a glass or mason jar, garnish with lime slice (if desired), serve immediately and enjoy!
